Undeniably, Nepal is the best for the trekking  destinations with unique cultural diversity and rich natural biodiversity experience in the world. It is the only country in the whole world with highest, breathtaking and awe-inspiring mountains, deepest gorges and mystical valleys.

Annapurna Dhaulagiri Community Eco Journey, is one of the best model of community based tourism in Nepal pioneered in 2010 with the community of this area. The Community journey trails runs through the settlements of culturally rich Magar community, with the spectacular hills of Mohare and Khopra, that delights the amazing panoramic Himalayan view, beyond the word can describe. The view of mountain such as Dhaulagiri, Annapurna massive, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare (Fishtail), Himal Chuli to Jugal range dominates the northern horizon from west to east. Besides this, the pristine and wonderful forest of Chilaune, Pines, Fir, Castanopsis, Quercus and Rhododendrons provides a great sense and peace of mind being in the nature. The chirping of beautiful mountain birds such as Grosbeak, Yuhina, Tits, Magpies, Pheasants etc. and anticipation of encountering the wildlife such as deer, Himalayan bears and common leopard makes the trail very exciting and lively.

Being a responsible adventure travel company, we at Nature-treks.com Himalaya (NTH) comprehend that, “ecotourism” is sustainable tourism all about communities, conservation, education, environment and sustainable travel. Our sincere objectives are: to support the community owned and run eco-lodge, help building environmental and cultural awareness to provide positive experiences for both tourists and locals, provide economical benefits, create employment opportunities and nature conservation by minimizing the impact to keep the environments and culture intact as much as possible.

Nature Trek works with the communities of Myagdi district, in running the community eco-lodge and homestay, with a clear and honest intention to make this a meaningful journey for the visitors that supports the communities in real sense of economic benefit for education and community, as a whole. Nature Trek initiated this trek of pure community based tourism and has carried out all the promotion work from the beginning since 2010 AD in the local markets and abroad. As the trend of ethical tourism is growing, we hope to bring tourists that are interested in supporting our objectives to create sustainable communities. For this we have carefully designed the two different trek itineraries, suitable for all ages. The treks are led by highly experienced and knowledgeable tour guide/leader from Nature Trek (NTH) with the support staffs and porters hired from the community only. We are also encouraging and using female support and female lead guide on this trek from the area too. We have also supported many guide for their training (guiding and English lesson) and to rely on the local guides and all other staffs from the village, so that they do not have to go abroad for their employment.

We are fully committed to out objectives, will not promise what we can not deliver. The beauty of this trekking project is that most portion of income goes to the communities; hence we are really giving a back to communities more that what actually we make.
